Our RecommendationWhich Projector Adapter or Cable should I use?

This really depends greatly based on your phone. Some phones support HDMI output, others do not. If your phone does support an adapter for HDMI output, this will be the fastest, best, and cheapest solution.

However, some phones (like most in the Samsung Galaxy series) only support casting to the screen via a device like Chromecast.

Below is a guide to adapters to connect to your projector.

USB-C to HDMI

If your phone supports output to HDMI, a USB-C to HDMI cable is the way to go.

Micro USB to HDMI

If your phone takes a micro USB adapter and supports HDMI output, this might be the solution for you.

Apple Lightning to HDMI

This apple lightning adapter is a great solution, as it includes the option to charge your phone while also outputting via a standard HDMI cable. It's expensive, but its an excellent solution if you are an apple user.

Casting Smart Device : if your device does not support HDMI output

Some phones do not support hard wired HDMI output, but do support screen casting (like the Samsung Galaxy series of phones). In these cases, you are probably best off using a device like the Fire TV Stick, Roku, or Chromecast. There can be increased latency, but one advantage to this solution is that you can charge your phone while casting since the charging port will not be in use.
